Now it was time to see the house Mum had bought in Nelson!! We were both excited to finally see the house she bought on-line. We hired a car out of Nelson airport and drove straight to the Real Estate agents. However, when we got there...they had lost the key! Haha, sound like a dodgy deal?? Nah, all was good. We went to a cafe while we waited, then she turned up with the key, she was a lot more flustered than us! The house was really nice. In great condition, on a hill with a nice view. I think it was a really good buy, and could see myself living there someday...???

Coming into Nelson

During the flight, the stewardess kept looking over at us until finally she came over and said, 'Do I know you from somewhere?' She tried to pick it, then when we said we were from Howick, she remembered, we were sitting next to her at the pub in Howick the night before having dinner! There were only 4 tables that being waited on that night...what a coincidence! So we got a snap outside the plane as we got off.
Waiting in the Cafe for the Real Estate agent to find the key...
The yummy quiche helped pass the time nicely...
Mum sees the house for the first time!
'That's the look, that's the look, the look of love...'
Sandy, the agent and Mum in front of the house.
On the path to the house...
The front door!
I love the windows.
View from the sun room. You can see the Cathedral in central Nelson. Her house is only 10 minutes walk away.
