Enjoying the park...
We all enjoyed our time in the park in different ways.....the kid stuck in the Pirates of the Caribbean is Jo!
Best Chocolate Cake Ever!!!
This was the BEST chocolate cake I have ever had! Kris (left) made it....yummy!! Moist and rich and ooohhh! Please don't tell me it was a mix.....
Here's the recipe:
3/4 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup yoghurt
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup hot coffee
Preheat oven to 180 C. Lightly grease pan. Mix all above ingred. except hot coffee. Mix well. Add hot coffee and mix again. Batter will be thin. Bake 30 min. or more depending on pan size. Cool the cake and frost or just dust with icing sugar.

Night out with the girls
Last night we went out to dinner with the ladies from Poole University. We went to an Italian restaurant that was superb! We had a great time. These shots were taken with my phone camera so the quality isn't so good, and some of us weren't ready for the shutter (below)......say cheese!

Me and Jordan
This is me and Jordan. No, Jordan is not mine..hehe..he is my good friend Erinn's baby. He just turned 5 months. I think he is pretty special so you may see him appearing quite a bit!We went to a park full of hydrangeas in early June, but it was a little early.....Jordan still had fun getting aquainted with the flowers though.

Jordan is such a smiley boy! He looks so happy to get his present. I FINALLY finished a cross-stitch for him in honour of his birth....only 5 months late!

Here's the cross-stitch I made for Jordan. I sewed it on a bag so it would be useful for him. Now he keeps all his favourite toys in it.
